Not only does this policy ensure that we have enough staff cover to run an effective service but guarantees that we have appropriately and suitably qualified staff with relevant experience that is competently matched to roles to ensure that the services we provide are safe, caring, responsive and well-led. The policy provides for water-tight screening to ensure that all our staff has enhanced DBS checks, verifiable qualifications, and reliable references before they are deployed to work with vulnerable service users.
